The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 PS Sail is the preschool sizing of the Fall 2020 collaboration between Virgil Ablohs fashion label and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordans fifth signature shoe. The Sail is the follow-up to the Off-White x Jordan 5 that was released in February 2020. Like the first design, the Sail also celebrates the iconic shoes 30-year anniversary. As for the design, the upper displays exposed foam, mesh detailing, and a transparent film with die-cut circles placed randomly on the body and tongue. Industrial inspired styling appears on the Helvetica text on the detailing on the medial side. The embroidered Jumpman on the silver reflective tongue and 23 branding on the heel display a Fire Red finish as a nod to the look of Michael Jordans old Player Exclusive version. Both the Nike Air on the back of the shoe and the pre-yellowed sole achieve the vintage aesthetic of the shoe.
